Additional Theme
[edit]Hi everyone,
This is my first time editing a Wikipedia page and I wanted to try editing on a topic that I am passionate about. If I Stay is one of my all-time favorite books. I have read the sequel and watched the movie. I am happy I get to share my passion with all of you. I hope you take a second to review the edit I want to make, thank you in advance.
I want to include the theme of music, since music is an important part of the main character, Mia's life. She is a talented musician who is an amazing cellist that got accepted into Julliard. All the characters connect over a shared loved of music, even though their styles are very different as Mia enjoys classic and her family and boyfriend enjoy rock. However, as music brings them together, it also separates them due to their different musical tastes. Mia makes the choice to stay after Adam, her boyfriend, plays cello music which was a decision that she battled with throughout the book.
I got inspiration through LitCharts and a summary posted by Allen Cheng.
Thanks for reading the addition I want to add. Mrkenn14 (talk) 23:34, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
